We got home yesterday and were very tired. I fell asleep at 7:45pm!!! This will be my last post, I hope you had fun reading about my trip to Europe. Bye!!!

Last Day

Today was our last day of the whole trip!!! It has gone by really fast and we are all sad to go home. First, we went to a little art museum that was in the painter's old house. It was nice finally to go to a not crowded museum!!! Then, we visited two old churches and walked around Luxemburg Gardens. We ate dinner at an Italian restraunt, the food was really good. It was a fun last day!!!

Eiffel Tower

First, my family took a boat tour on the Seine. It was fun, but I wish it hadnt been raining! We also visited the Eiffel Tower. My dad, brother, and I climbed to the first stage, about 280 steps while my mom and sister played at the playground. Then, my brother and I went to the second stage, about 600 steps. So I climbed 1,200 steps yesterday!!! After dinner we visited our friends who live in the US, but are also here on vacation. I was tired at the end of the day!!! Versailles

Today we went to Versailles Palace which is where several kings of France lived. About 50,000 people were there. We took a tour, the palace was so big. The walls were made out of marble!!!

Louvre

Today we went to to the Louvre. There was about 1,000 people in the room with the Mona Lisa. The whole museum was sooo crowed it was impossible to walk around but I still had some fun. Then we went to the Tuilleries Gardens, outside of the Louvre. We saw a carnival there too. We also went out to dinner at a little cafè. It was a fun day.

Saint Chapelle

First we went to church at Notre Dame, the organ was so beautiful. Then we went to Saint Chapelle which is a very old building with stain glass windows. They looked pretty in the sunshine. We also went to Museum D'Orsay which is an art mueseum. After dinner, we went out for a walk and got ice cream.

In Paris

Today was our first day in Paris. We went to lunch at a cafe and I got the biggest hot dog ever. Then, we walked around Notre Dame. It had beautiful stain glass windows. Next, we walked around Isle de Cite which is a island in the middle of the Seine River. It was fun. This is a picture of us in the cafe.

Traveling to Paris

We woke up early this mornng to go to Paris. When we got to the airport our tickets got messed up so only I had a ticket but, 45 minutes later we all did. Then, we had to wait on the plane for a hour and a half without air conditioning when they looked for a missing suitcase. In the end they never found it. Since, our flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flight and had to take a later one. When we finally got to the Paris airpot they lost my moms suitcase. She got it this morining. It was a very tiring day.

Phil's Party

We are at my parent's friend's birthday party. He rented a mansion in Scotland. I am having a great time with all the other kids. We have played capture the flag, cards, poker and charades. We are going to Paris tomorrow. This is a picture of us playing poker.

First Day in Scotland

Today we first went to the Edinburgh Castle. It is really old and medival looking. The tour we took was really interesting. Next, me, my dad and brother went to a museum called the Camera Obscura. It is filled with optical illusions and science experiments that have to do with lights and mirrors. They also have 3-D images and holograms. We went back to the room and swam in the pool at the hotel and then went out to dinner at an Indian Restraunt. It was a really fun day!!!

Going To Scotland

Today we took a train to Edinburgh, Scotland. We had first class seats, they were really comfortable!!! It was very relaxing. Our hotel is awesome and we have nice, big rooms.

Hampton Court

Today we went to Hampton Court which is a palace built in the 1500's. The Royal Family used to live in it but they don't anymore. We took a tour and saw a lot of the rooms. The outside is beautiful because it has so many gardens and fountains. There was one man-made lake which was about 2 miles long!!! My family took the train to Hampton Court, which is outside London, and saw lots of homes and towns. I had a very fun but tiring day!!!

Harrods!!!

Today we first saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. It is when the new guards march in and take over for the old guards. It happens everyday at 11:30am. The changing of the guards was fun to watch. Then, we went to the Natural History Museum and saw a model of a blue whale. My favorite thing was the Red Panda. Next, we went to Harrods, which is a famous and big department store. It is so big we got lost in it and they give you maps!!! We also had dinner at one of the restarunts there. I had a fun day!!!

The Wax Museum

Today we went to church at Westminster Cathederal and then we took a boat to Greenwich and saw the Meridan Line. You could stand in the West and East Hempishire at the same time!!! We had dinner at Pizza Express. It is a different chain than the ones in the U.S. and is much nicer and has better pizza!!! The first picture is of me with a silver angel we saw standing on the street and the next one is a picture of me and Dan Radcliffe (we saw him at the wax museum and he is made out of wax. The wax figures look pretty realistic.) Bye for now!!!

The First Day

Today we took a tour on a double-decker bus. It was fun but then it started raining so we went inside the bus. After that we went to a wax museum. It had cool statues that looked like they were real people. It was so much fun!!! After that we had dinner at the hotel room. The time here is five hours ahead of Bedford so it feels like late afternoon but it is really ten o'clock. I will write again tomorrow. Bye!!!

In Europe!!!

We arrived in Europe yesterday morning. Last night at midnight me and Charles got the British copy of Harry Potter 7. It is really good. We just had breakfast which was awesome and we are going back to our room. Yesterday morning in London there was four inches of rain in one hour!!! Luckily, we just missed it and were able to land. They cancelled 140 flights but not ours!!! Bye for now.

Packing

Hi everybody!!! We leave on Friday. I'm so excited!!! We are packing alot and tonight I am probably going to have to pack more. So I will write again when we are in Europe!!! Bye.
